Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Nua is a mobile application developed and operated by the Nua team. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information collected through the App. You can reach us at support@nua-app.com.

2. What Data We Collect

• Profile data — your name, pronouns, date, time and place of birth, and relationship status. We use them to calculate your chart, numbers and readings.
• People you add — the names and birth details of partners, family or friends you enter for compatibility or readings. Please add someone only if they are happy for you to do so.
• Account data — the identifier Apple or Google gives us when you sign in, and the email address they share with us, if any. We never see your password.
• What you write in the app — your messages to the in-app astrologer and your reactions to cards.
• Device data — your push notification token (only with your permission), time zone, language and app version.
• Purchase data — which subscription or reading you bought and its status. Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play; we never receive your card details.
• Usage data — which screens you open and which buttons you tap, linked to a random identifier, so we can see what works and fix what does not.
• Crash reports — technical details of an app crash on Android, so we can fix it.

Your profile photo, if you add one, stays on your phone and is never uploaded to us.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To calculate your chart and numbers and write your personal readings, forecasts and compatibility reports
• To answer your questions in the in-app astrologer chat
• To run your account and sign you in
• To send your daily notifications (only with your permission)
• To check what you have bought and unlock it
• To understand how the app is used, fix problems and improve it
• To respond to your support requests

We process your data to provide the app you asked for (our contract with you), with your consent (notifications), and in our legitimate interest (analytics, crash reports and security).

4. Third-Party Services

These services process data on our behalf, only for the purpose listed:

• OpenAI — writes your personal readings and the astrologer's answers. It receives your name, birth details, the details of people you added for that reading, and your chat messages. OpenAI does not use data sent through its API to train its models. openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
• Google Maps Platform — finds your city of birth and its time zone as you type. policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and notifications on iPhone. apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google — Sign in with Google, Google Play purchases, notifications and crash reports (Firebase) on Android. policies.google.com/privacy
• RevenueCat — keeps track of your subscription and purchases. revenuecat.com/privacy

• Railway — hosts our servers and database. railway.com/legal/privacy

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. Ever.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (menu → Manage profile → Delete my account): your profile, the people you added, your readings, chat and purchase records on our side are deleted right away. If you no longer have the app, see nua-app.com/delete-account. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep their own records of purchases under their policies and the law. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — revoke push notification permission at any time in device settings

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nua-app.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Nua is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at support@nua-app.com and we will delete that information promptly.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
