Frequently asked questions
What is my horoscope for today?
Find your sign by your birthday in the tiles above and open it. Each sign's page carries today's forecast, written this morning from the day's sky, with the date it is for. A new forecast replaces it every day, and the same text opens the Nua app's daily page for that sign.
How do I know my zodiac sign?
Your sign is the one the Sun was passing through on your birthday, and each tile above shows its dates. If you were born on the first or last day of a sign, the Sun may have changed sign that day. Your birth chart in the Nua app shows exactly where it was.
How is a daily horoscope written?
From the day's actual sky. The Moon's phase and sign, where the planets stand and any event, such as an eclipse or a planet changing sign, are calculated first from astronomical tables. Each sign's text is then written from those positions, which is why it changes when the sky does.
Are horoscopes by zodiac sign accurate?
Only up to a point. A sign is one placement, the Sun on your birthday, so a forecast by sign speaks to what everyone born under it shares that day. A personal forecast reads the planets against your whole birth chart, which is why two people of one sign can have very different days.
How do I get a personalized horoscope?
In the Nua app. It is free to download and gives you your sign's forecast every morning. With Premium it follows the planets through your own birth chart, shows your personal transits and opens the Moon, Work and Love cards in full. Prices are shown in the App Store before anything is charged.
When does the daily horoscope change?
Once a day. The forecasts on this site follow the calendar of US Eastern time, and the date each one is for is printed above it. In the app, the day follows your own phone's calendar, so a new forecast is waiting when your morning starts.
